Kenmare Bay offers the salt water angler the chance to try his hand at a host of species including Mackerel, Pollock, Cod, Skate and Dog-fish. Chartered boats are available for hire locally or you could try a spot of rock fishing at Coornagillagh Harbour just 200 metres from the cottage.

There are numerous lakes and rivers in the area including the Caha Lakes, Killarney Lakes and The Lakes of Cloonee which are located just 500 metres from the cottage. Day and week licenses are available for the fresh water enthusiast.
